Public Testimony

BVSD School Board Testimony

The Boulder Valley School Board meets generally on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month starting at 6 pm.

See https://go.boarddocs.com/co/bvsd/Board.nsf/Public#

for the exact schedule.  Video recordings of past meetings can also be found here.

The meetings often begin with presentations by officials at Boulder and/or Broomfield County Public Health.  (Warning, for those who question whether experimental vaccines should be promoted for children, the content of these meetings, and the prevailing groupthink, can be quite disturbing.)

The next school board meeting is Tuesday, November 9 at 6 pm.

To provide public comment during a school board meeting, complete the request to speak form

before noon on the day of the meeting.  You can also email Laura Shafer (laura.shafer@bvsd.org) or call 720-561-5114.  Speaker order is based on the order in which you request to speak, so registering days in advance can result in an earlier slot.  You will have a strictly enforced 2 minutes to speak, although you may speak for 4 minutes if someone else donates their time to you.

Board of Health Testimony

You can also testify at the Board of Health, which oversees Boulder County Public Health (BCPH).  BCPH in turn largely dictates BVSD health policy, since the current school board generally does not question BCPH recommendations.  The Board of Health meets (virtually) on the second Monday of the month, starting at 5:30 pm.

The next meeting is on Monday, November 8 at 5:30 pm.

If you wish to testify to the Board of Health by phone:
